The College-Rolando Library is a branch of the city of San Diego Public Library. Formerly located on College Avenue, it was known as the College Heights branch.
The College-Rolando Library serves the many communities in East San Diego, including the College Area and SDSU. Our branch provides free wifi, family events, a large children's section, and homework help. Volunteer opportunities abound, and our Community room hosts the CACC/CACPB and other groups, with lectures, author talks, OASIS presentations for active older adults, and a kids' movie series. We participate in the SDPL summer reading program for children to support literacy and reading-skill building.
The Friends of the College-Rolando Library sponsor many of the programs and events at the branch and are active in fundraising for collections development and community engagement.
